    need to sell my TC

    up for sale is my 1989 chrysler maserati tc turbo, clean interior, 28mpg!! 102300 kmiles, maserati red/tan interior,2 tops- hardtop and cloth top in excellent condition!.4cyl turbo engine, tags good through april 2013( just renewed) automatic transmission

    lots of new parts : rebuilt transmission with new and rebuilt parts by sunset transmissions in los angeles,oxygen sensor, refurbished fuel injectors,rebuilt ac compressor, master brake cylinder, new tires all around, new brakepads,new fuelpump,new fuel filter,stereo with new speakers including ipod hookup,new shocks front and back,vacuum lines etc..passed last smog check with no problems! needs minor tlc to make it perfect again! rip in middle console leather, right front fender has dent above corner light.have brandnew belt for the ac compressor that needs a filling...other than that...she's good to go!

    I love my car but I have to sell ASAP...

    I put it up for 4600...but it would be nice to see if one of our TC friends would buy it so I know its in good hands...

    make me an offer!!

    thanks again for the fast reply...in early february, my brakes failed - the master cylinder had to be replaced..also, the corresponding fuse in the engine compartment was fried (where the 3 relays are..all replaced..) I will check the functionality of all the lights and turn signals tomorrow...and let you know..I looked under the dash to see if there is anything wrong towards the brake switch which has not been changed...I did not take it out but it looks good so far...

    hey george and thank you for your input!...while I was working on the problem, something weird happened: even with the 20 amp fuse not present, the vanity mirrow lights came on..and when I pressed the brake pedal, they dimmed down ...I disconnected the cables that lead to the 3rd taillight..and did not attempt another try..

    what can possibly break in a brake switch? I checked that too and it seems fine from the outside..

    safe to drive?

    here we go again...

    exchanged the master brake cylinder 3 weeks ago...my breaks were fine..all good..until today: the abs light comes on while driving...REALLY?????

    now what can it be this time..this car drives me NUTS>.I spend more time under it than in it.

    fusebox is fine( not melted) all relays exchanged..when switching on ignition, I can hear the pump building up pressure..when pressing the brake pedal about 6 times, the pump comes on again...no leaks, brakes were bleeded as discribed .

    now since the whole master brake unit including pump has been replaced..WHAT else could it be?? please advise!

    hi there...every day something new....master brake cylinder, tires, new fuel line...and I should really ask you this....

    my no 6 fuse ( breaklights, int. lights) went out about 6 times in the last 2 years..I cant seem to find a short...anyone has the same issue<?
