Any Letterman fans here? This classic video shows Dave working the drive-thru window at a Taco Bell in NJ back in the '90s....

Remember the Costa Concordia? It was a huge cruise ship which was intentionally brought too close to shore near Italy and it hit some rocks which caused it to take on water and list sharply. It caused the deaths of 32 people and it was a massive undertaking to get the ship righted and hauled to the scrapyard. I think the total loss was over a billion dollars. Here's a 17 minute video showing how they righted it with huge airbags. By the way, the captain left the ship while hundreds of people were still waiting to be rescued so they called him a coward and I believe he's still in an Italian prison....

How agile are you?
I'm 6 foot and weigh at least 280 and 68 years old so draw your own conclusions. LOL....

The Hagerty evaluation site says it's worth $11,300 in good condition. I called the seller and he said the heater core has been removed, the radio isn't hooked up and there is some rust along the front edge of the trunk opening where the rubber gasket goes. He also said he just installed a set of Coker wide whitewall radials. How difficult would it be for a non-mechanic to install a new heater core? I asked him to add more pics to the ad so there are a few now showing the interior, engine, and trunk....

You certainly don't see too many of these around. It's about an hour south of Louisville....

😫Beware of Jim.. I sent him a deposit and my 1936 ford Glove box door and have not heard back from him in over 6 months. He ripped me off.
I've heard he has done this to many others.
Did you do an online search for his phone number? I did and here it is so why not call him instead of disparaging him and waiting for him to contact you? Let us know what happens....

Studebaker Drivers Club is excellent support for anyone owning a postwar Studebaker in terms of parts sources, technical advice and regional club activities. Whatever this '61 Cruiser needs could be easily handled to create a satisfying daily driver for very reasonable investment.
I already belong to the SDC. I sold my '49 Stude pickup last month. I'm not looking for a fixer-upper....

Didn't Aunt Bee own one of these?
She had a '66 Daytona. Also, my wife and I met each other in 1998 through "The Andy Griffith Show Rerun Watchers Club" website. Seven months after we met I moved from San Diego to Louisville and married her. I was 46 and she was 45 and it was the first marriage for each of us....

I called on this car and spoke with the 75 year old owner for half an hour. He has it listed in the ad as "excellent condition" but the carb needs to be rebuilt, the power steering leaks, the aftermarket heat and A/C system is not hooked up, the mufflers need to be replaced, the radio doesn't work, one of the rear doors has a dent in it, and there's more. When I told him that "excellent condition" is not an accurate description he got mad and hung up on me. I know he's only asking $3850 for it so I wasn't expecting much and I was right. Oh well....

And at the other end of the spectrum does anyone know how much Yugo is worth these days?

Could a guy that's 7 feet tall reach that spare tire? Probably not. I guess the rest of us would have to climb into the truck to access it.
That's a nice looking car at a reasonable price. Thanks for posting it....

A cheaper suggestion would be to use the old 4-60 air conditioning system which is to roll down all 4 windows and cruise at 60 mph. Good luck....

Beverly Hills Ford on Wiltshire Blvd
It's actually Wilshire Blvd. If you have the full address then you should check the Google Maps site (or whatever it's called) to see if the original building is still there. Good luck finding who the original owner was. It would be cool if it was sold new to somebody famous. Let us know what happens....

I saw a small bird fly into my garage this morning and land on the edge of this old oil can. After looking around it disappeared inside. After it left I took a look inside and there was a nest with 4 baby birds in it which I thought was pretty cool. A couple of years ago there was another bird that came into the garage and made a nest inside my Indianapolis Colts cap which was upside down. When football season rolled around the birds were gone so I cleaned it out and cheered the Colts onto another unspectacular 6-10 season. Has anyone else found a nest in an unusual location?

This one's a 56 Ford
Why is the rear door open-so 6 more kids can pile in there?

Since the ad is 5 years old I would suggest contacting him via the email address or phone number in his ad. He spends a lot of time on the road delivering cars so that would be the best way to contact him. Good luck....

Actually the dash trim was my first clue. Upholstery pattern as well. Even the steering wheel and shift knob. Pretty sure it's a 56. Could be off by one year but I'll go with my gut instinct.
Dash trim? The dash isn't shown in the pic....

A teen in Minnesota was dying from cancer and his last wish was to be able to have his beloved Fiero restored so he could drive it one last time so a couple of dozen Fiero owners went up there from all over the US and worked for 24 hours straight and he got to drive it the next day. It was all coordinated by an Army sergeant stationed in either Iraq or Afghanistan through a Fiero website. Have a tissue ready at the end of this 6 minute video....
