  1. B Rogers, I would like to see a picture of your 3D printed glove box door when it is done. I have a cracked maroon door on my 1947 Chrysler Highlander. It would be nice to have a plastic replacement vs. a metal one that you would have to paint. Thanks!
  2. There used to be a guy out in Iowa (I believe?) who made and sold glove box doors for the "46-'48 Chrysler that were solid aluminum. You would then paint the door (where the plastic used to be) the color of the original plastic. I had been meaning to get one for years now and I think maybe I've waited too long!
  3. Thanks for your help. I've been buying stuff from Andy and Roberts since the 1970s. I appreciate it!
  4. Good afternoon gentlemen, I've got a 1947 Chrysler C-38 Windsor Club Coupe with a flathead 6 cyl. engine. I've had it since the 1970s and it has always been garage kept. Yesterday I took it for a spin and everything was fine until I decided to head home. Couldn't get the gear shift lever to go into 3rd, reverse, or neutral and it made a heck of a racket when I tried to shift. Luckily I was near home and got it in my garage with the help of a neighbor who pushed it. We looked at the linkage and it looks like it lost a nut or something at the end as it seems very loose. Have attached some photos that show what it looks like. I'm not sure if a nut fell off the end of the bolt, or the rubber washer has given way, or what. Do any of you good folks out there know what I need to do to fix this linkage. I didn't know if the Mopar vendors carry repair kits for this linkage. Thanks in advance for your help. Ron H
  5. Beautiful car! It looks a lot like my Chrysler which is a '47 Windsor Highlander. I've got the original black paint job and the car was made in Windsor, Canada. Enjoy!
  6. Good morning all! I was recently trying to overhaul the Carter BB carburetor on my 1947 Chrysler and discovered that I am missing the float level pin retainer. I asked some of the guys in my local AACA chapter, but no one seemed to have this part. Do any of you in the Forum have one of these that I could buy from you or could you direct me to an auto parts dealer who might have one? I appreciate the help. Thanks!
