Guest AlK
I used to own a 1978 Buick regal turbo sport coupe that had the buick rallye rims.My question is were those rims in any way optional for the 80's riviera convertible. I like those better than the wire wheels I have seen on the ragtops but do not know if they would be legit or not.
sosuzguy
Which one of these wheels are you referring to?http://www.rivowners.org/features/colortrim/83.html
Guest AlK
Thanks JasonThat basically answered my question. The Rallye rim is not a correct option for the Riviera. so if i put a set on it will not be 100% correct. My choice, I'll have to make if and/or when the time ever comes.thanks again. 83RivConv
As 79 started with front wheel drive, I doubt if they (78/earlier) would fit properly anyhow--offset, etc??
NTX5467
Yes, the fwd wheels have a definite "offset" to them, which is highly different from what rwd vehicles of that time used.NTX5467
