jonlabree
I have a problem with the Cruise Control. My unit functions when the engine is cold, but when it when it warms it fails. I have replaced the CC unit and all of the lines ant the dash light comes on even when the unit fails. But the problem persists the control unit and all of the V lines. Any ideas would be helpful. Ronnie
If I were troubleshooting your problem I would start by putting a Tee fitting in the vacuum line just before the CC unit under the hood. Then run a vacuum line to a location where you can see a vacuum gauge while you are driving the car. When the CC will not work see if you have lost vacuum to the CC unit. That way you will know if you have an electrical problem or a vacuum problem.
DAVES89
Mc_Reatta did a great write up on troubleshooting the cruise control units. I think it is in Ronnie's forum.
