Spazzaroth
I recently bought a '89 Reatta. Had never heard of the car before I bought one, but that crt definitely sold me on it. The crt works perfectly except for one dead spot in the touch screen right over the cassette " play" button. Does anyone know of a way to try to fix this without a complete rebuild of the crt? Thanks In advance.
NCReatta
You cannot press the play button unless there is a tape in the deck.
Spazzaroth
Thanks. I've tried it with a tape adaptor in the deck with no response. I'll see if I can scare up an actual cassette.
D-a-n-i-e-l
Make sure the tape deck is plugged in to the CDM (radio) box, located in the center console. This is most likely your issue.
Spazzaroth
Ok, I have a mechanic giving me a new cam magnet, water pump and timing belt right now, when I get it back I'll check it out. The deck does eject when I hit the eject command,. Just can't get it to play.
