Is there a seperate power source used to set the time on the radio on a 1990 Buick Reatta?

can't set radio clock. Radio works.

It's in the owner's manual. However going from memory you press the "set" button and then toggle the "scan" and "seek" buttons to set minutes and hours.

Your memory is correct. The procedure has worked until I had the Air Conditioner repaired and now I can't set the clock. I haven't been able to find a wiring diagram so I don't know if there is a separate 12V used for setting the clock or if it is an internal problem in the radio.

There is 12V going to the radio at all times...........fuse 13

When the ignition is on, a different 12v is there to operate the radio......fuse 11

Thank you. Since the radio is working, are you telling me the problem is in the radio itself?

Only telling you which fuses are involved.........if the radio is working then #11 is probably fine.    Fuse #13 feeds to the radio to keep the clock working....goes the clock advance/work, you just cannot set it?

The clock is on but I can't set it. The set button works along with the scan button to set the radio frequencies. I'll check the #13 fuse. It would be good if that is the problem. Thank you.

Both fuses are good.

Do you have or know where I can get a wiring diagram for the Radio? I had major work done on the AC and possibly a wire didn't get reconnected.
