Fox W.
Hello, I started getting an intermittent low oil level warning upon start-up. I replaced the sensor, but soon after it came back. I replaced it again, and the issue is still there, intermittent. I assume my issue is a bad wire maybe. I tested the resistance and I think was getting about 2.3ohms. Does anyone know what it should be? I assume open would be low, and closed would mean the float is up (level OK) The wires and the connector seem fine. Resistance didn't change when I wiggled them around.
Barney Eaton
Try putting a jumper in the connector........if there is a wiring problem you will continue to have the intermittent warning.
