1937 dodge D5 sedan trunk rubber

Recommended Posts

John, there may be 2 sizes of rubber for those cars, The most common in the small version which fits a channel about 1/2 -5/8 in wide.If you look at the seal, you'll notice that one groove of the little flap is deeper than the other. The flat square edge of the seal faces the outer side of the channel and is tucked down into the channel allowing the deeper groove to extend over the inner edge of the channel. The smaller lip on the top of the seal is what actually seals the lid as it provides a small channel to drain the water off. I know that this is not the best description but hope it helps some. If you need more I can get a photo of mine that might shed a little more light on it!
