JTF
This might be a silly question, but I need to ask it. My dad and I are (slowly) working on restoring our vehicle. We were installing our new instrument cluster and we were a little stumped about the back of the instrument cluster. There is a receiver of some sort on the back of the speedometer portion, but we have no idea how it works or what would go into it. I'm confident that there are many people here who know what goes or doesn't go onto the back of the cluster, so I'm hoping someone will be able to help out. Thanks in advance, Jeremy

keiser31
Or does it look like this?
keiser31
The "receiver" is probably for the speedometer cable.
keiser31
No such thing as a silly question....ESPECIALLY when it comes to vintage cars.
JTF
That’s the one, keiser. Where would the cable go to from the instrument cluster? I’ve attached a picture, now that I’m home from work. Also, any suggestions on where to get my hands on a cable? I didn’t see anything on the Myers Early Dodge site. Thanks, Jeremy
keiser31
The cable will go to the transmission. You MAY find one on Ebay, but be careful when getting one from an unknowing person or ask in the "Chrysler Products Buy and Sell" section.
