Your best bet is to buy a parts book and learn to use it.

There are lots of parts around the many Studeaker parts vendors but most have their parts inventoried by part numbers.

Jerry Kurtz (mentioned above) rebuilts transmissions and also makes an adaptor to use an later overdrive in the 1936 and later

Dictator and Commander.

I have a overdrive transmission for a 1937 with a repaired (brazed) transmission case for sale.

The guts are good and you maybe able to use your transmission case.

Jerry is an expert on 1937 Studebakers having restored several models and he is a helpful nice guy.
