db17
Hello everyone,I am in the middle of rebuilding my 1917 Dodge Touring car Trans. Some of my gears need to be replace due to damage to the gears teeth. Can anyone tell me if 1923 trans gears are inter-changeable with a 1917 trans? There are some gears on ebay for sale, which end in 19 hours. If they will work I would like to bid on them.I'm in need of the "Countershaft drive gear". I noticed the DB parts book has this gear listed with two part numbers, 16107 and 24247. Maybe someone can clarify the difference between the two. Thank You!!Steve Edited November 29, 2015 by db17 (see edit history)
Spinneyhill
You could ask the lister for some measurements, tooth counts etc to see if they are the same?
