ShekysRiv
In searching for some wheel covers for my 63 Riv, I found what is supposed to be a set of 4 wire spoke for a 1965. I have a few pics and wanted some help verifying their authenticity and worth.Any help appreciated!Sheldon Edited August 28, 2015 by ShekysRiv (see edit history)
Riviera63
Sheldon, They do look authentic. I have a set of 1963 wire covers for sale. Go to page 3 of this forum. I purchased these from a fellow Riviera Owner's Association member. There are pictures of all the covers, 4 shots of each. $450.00 for all. Thanks. Pat Curran
These look fine in the pictures but in 1963 the center emblem would have been a Buick tri-shield. I personally prefer the "R" in the oval to the tri-shield but it is no big deal if you are not concerned about originality. Overall condition will dictate the price. They look OK in the pictures but as long as there is no curb rash, broken spokes, pitting on the spinners or faded or cracked emblems, the price mentioned above is in the ball park. These are fairly easy to to take apart for a good polishing which is really the only way you can thoroughly clean them. Once done, they look nice on the car.
