zipdang Posted May 29, 2015 Share Posted May 29, 2015 Another find from my wife's aunt's grandfather's chest (he was a boat builder in Massachusetts) is this device. It says "Nathan Mfg. Co. New York" and "2 oz." on it. It is about 2" in diameter and about 2.5" top to bottom. Any guesses on what it is and what it's application might be? Thank you again! ply33 Posted May 30, 2015 Share Posted May 30, 2015 Looks like a grease cup to me. Unscrew the top, fill with grease. As the equipment needs additional lubricant, screw the cover down a little more.
