Today, the car remains in superb restored condition and remains fresh throughout. It has been continuously maintained, used regularly and stored in a climate controlled building since the restoration was completed. The car has been shown at numerous recent concours including the St. John's Concours, Eyes on Design, etc. The body is excellent and shows no signs of damage, repair or abuse. The door and deck lid margins are even throughout. The hood fits the cowl and radiator shell as it is supposed to. The paint is like new and shows virtually no signs of aging or wear. The green leather interior fits excellent and is also like new both inside the car and in the rumble seat. The brown Hartz top has been recently replaced. All of the glass and weather stripping remains like new. The engine bay and chassis are clean and well detailed. There is some light dirt from recent use, but it could be easily cleaned and detailed. The dashboard has been properly restored and all of the gauges look like new. Mechanically, the car is superb. It starts easily either hot or cold. The engine is quiet and smooth. The clutch is smooth and the transmission shifts with ease. The brakes and steering are tight and responsive. The car drives down the road straight and true with no creaks, rattles or groans. This car was properly restored and looks like new inside and out. The overall fit and finish is excellent. The car sits right and looks great from all angles. It has been driven about 3,000 careful miles since the restoration was completed so it is well sorted and is ready to be driven for thousands more. trimacar Posted May 7, 2015 Share Posted May 7, 2015 I've driven one of these, a beautiful and correct restoration, and they are a real pleasure to drive.....great power but lighter and more nimble than their big brothers (or big sisters if you think of cars as she!).... I am in the camp yellow is less than ideal for a sedan, but the combo on this body style is PERFECT for this car. Lots of eyeball on this one for sure!
