Guest TheRusch
Hi Dale,I have a Motors Auto Repair Manual that includes Chrysler 1935-1948. It shows 15-20 foot lbs for the manifold stud nuts. It apparently is the same for all those years. Hope this helps.Regards,Jerry

Milpaint
One more thing, are you painting the exhaust manifold and if so what color would be correct?
Guest TheRusch
Afraid I can't help you on this. I don't have a 1936 Airstream. I only have a Motors Repair Manual for cars 1935 to 1948.
ol swede
One more thing, are you painting the exhaust manifold and if so what color would be correct?Link to where I got my gaskets http://www.northwesternautosupply.com/getParts.html One call got them to me. I painted both Intake & exh. manifolds a VHT # that I can't find right now but can get. It was a close match to the cleaned up natural cast. The block got Duplicor DE1650 Cast Coat Aluminum. I believe both colors came pretty close to original as near as I can tell.
c49er
Olsens gaskets can supply most any 30's chrysler gaskets too. They are here in the northwest... an old firm.
