Guest blkolds
I would like to get some information on any one who has installed aftermarket air on a 57 Olds . I'm particularly interested if you used a kit like Vintage Air as well as how the compressor was mounted and what multiple belt pulleys were used. thanks for the help
PONTIAC1953
I used to have a 1957 olds 88 holiday two door hardtop, it had factory engine brackets for the GM A6 compressor and condenser from a 60 to 64 oldsmobile. the rest of the system was a novi trunk air unit from a Chrysler, novi was a maker of aftermarket air conditioning. no outside air scoops, the air return and the two outlets were mounted on the rear package tray or shelf. the under dash controls were great, giving you low and high speed for each of both blower motors and temp control. that set up way more than enough for the oldsmobile, on max cooling, it would almost freeze you out of the car. I had this car in the 1970's and 1980's, I still miss this car today.Charles L. Coker1953 Pontiac tech advisortech advisor coordinatorpoci
