Guest rls65rls
hello everyone, finally the riv is running; but,the dash lites are not working, their is a new circuit board in the dash, the car is a 65, there is a possibility the dash is a 63 or 64. that said, can a 63 or 64 dash be used in a 65 with a 65 circuit board.the previous owner did get a used dash on e-bay, but doesn't know what year it was. any help would be great, thanks rls65rls
RivNut
Look for a printed part number on the circuit board. As far as I know they're the same, but....? Have you checked to make sure that your circuit board is properly grounded?Ed
Seafoam65
I know this is elementary, but I feel I must mention that if you have the headlamp knobtwisted all the way clockwise you won't have any dash or console lights. Also if the rheostat on theheadlamp switch is bad or just has corrosion on it you won't have any dash lights, plus there is a separate fuse just for the dash lights that you should check for power on both sides with the lights turned on.
