Guest Dale in Vancouver
Hi all. My recently purchased '64 has a set of Cientra tires. Does anyone have knowledge or experience on this brand ? Thanks, Dale.
JZRIV
All I could find was they are made by Trivant. Thinking one of the major brands made Trivant and marketed it under that name, I searched to no end and couldn't find who makes Trivant, or even if its a stand alone company. Found numerous places that sell them. They seem to be a lower cost tire. Maybe some googlemaster out there can figure it out.
Guest Dale in Vancouver
Thanks Jason. I've also tried the internet, but they certainly seem to be an unknown quantity. Dale.
RivNut
Try the Firestone Destination LE-2... I was in awe when I switched to them this spring... All the vibration issues my car had completely disappeared... I'll never buy "off the wall" brands anymore... I had West Lakes and the only smooth ride I ever got from them was rolling them to the dump...Light truck tires on a Riviera? What year Riv and what size tire?Ed
Guest Dale in Vancouver
Update on my tire question. It appears Michelin makes Cientra and Trivant brands. One answer on the internet stated BF Goodrich makes Cientra, but they are owned by Michelin anyway. Now, this information comes from the internet, so it must be true, right !!! By the way the ones on my car are made in Canada. Dale.
