Jerry Alexander
Good day! I have been reading in the 'Horseless Carriage Gazette' about various tours. These seem to be fun. I am wondering if there are or have been any gatherings of Metz autos in addition to the gatherings @ Waltham? Would there be any interest in such a gathering? Just throwing a thought out there for your reaction.Jerry
Jerry Alexander
I see there have been several lookers of this post but I surmise there is no interest in such an event. OK.
Luv2Wrench
In addition to the fact that my Metz is still in pieces and could not participate... I'm not sure I'd want to drive in it very far. The Model 22 roadster is small!!! Maybe my mind will change once it is running.
Jerry Alexander
I do not drive mine far away from home either. But I have purchased a trailer to tow behind my truck. I presume there are a lot of this vintage automobiles that arrive at an event riding on/in a trailer. The event I am seeing would be driving around a particular area seeing local sights and sampling the local flavors of the region, too. Something to think about anyway. Thanks for your thoughts! BTW, my best wishes to you and anyone else reading this message "Happy Holidays plus best wishes for the New Year!Jerry
69bird
Jerry,Have you thought about trying to make it to the Waltham museum this year. They usually hold a Metz get together in July.Maybe we can put together a small tour that weekGreg
Jerry Alexander
I will consider that for sure. That would be fun and a long tow for me but really worth considering. Anyone else?
