Guest Waggy300
I have just changed the headlights on my 300 to Halogen and fine the voltage gage is maxing out and the car just stops running. I am thinking that the halogen lights are pulling too much juice, some thing over heats and kills the power. I am wondering if a need a heavy duty voltage regulator. Currently I am using a 3438150. Any thoughts?
28 Chrysler
I think this car has an amp meter and not a volt meter. The halogen lights should not effect your electrical system very much.Pull your lights out or disconnect them and see if the problem goes away and check to see if the wiring is in good shape. I think you have another problem.
JACK M
If the only thing you changed are the headlights you must have pinched a wire and made a short. I use these lights and have never had a problem.
