How to remove the rear radio speakers on the convertible?

Hi.

Looking at changing out the 4 x 10 rear speakers on my '90 'vert. Searched the Forum for instructions, could not find any, also the FSM does not seem to break the process out either. What needs to come off, and how is it fastened.

Just replaced the speakers on my 91 vert and the covers just pull off and 4 screws and speakers were off

Great, I was thinking that I might have to take off the back trim panel, never expected that the grilles would just snap off--that's too easy!!! Thanks for the quick responses.

Same deal with the '89 coupe. The rear speaker grills pull off via your fingertips. Wish the ones in the doors were that simple!

This is good info!! Just got our Vert the other day and realized last night that the passenger rear speaker is blown. Was gonna ask this same question today!!
