HistoryBuff Posted January 25, 2014 Share Posted January 25, 2014 This storyhttp://www.curbside.tv/blog/mercedes-gullwing-is-ultima/says that Mercedes restorer Rudy Koniczek from Canada had a local SoCal guy helping him find the car after 20 years so I imagine he paid a finders fee too. I am surprised the local guy didn't "shop it around". It was one of the 29 all alloy cars.
