Guest Hudson33
Thanks to both.Looking at the AACA site I may just start a thread in the "our cars and restoration projects "thread. Willys77
I heartily agree with Pat - post lots of photos! Impossible to clutter up our forum; especially with "unique" Restoration Speedster type, early stuff!!!!

Guest Hudson33
Hudson 33, here's some inspiration for you.I believe this is a roadster but shares many parts. Do you know where I can get some good shots of the motor from either side. It is amazing how much detail one finds when you start to look at one thing then another comes into view. I have made the spark advance and throttle on the wheel but need to connect to mag and carb. To do that I have to finish the new water pump shaft and set up.Great little car Fred
Guest Hudson33
This is a new attempt with the downloading of pics. They came up direct from my file in computer. When I got this car it did not have any throttle and spark mechanism so had to go by photos and intuition. The arms are brass and the quadrant is made from stainless. The rod is 5/16" with 2 tubes that turn within each other and in the steering column. The lower arms are attached but not shaped as I have to get theBosch DU 4 magneto installed.Fred

Guest Hudson33
Having noticed in several restored cars and some original cars, they had a base to hold two oil cans.I believe there were two types of oil, light and heavy. Found a couple Eagle brand cans so made the base and holder. The drilled and tapped holes were in the aluminum block so just copies the c-c distance. Used some scrap brass to keep cans from vibrating off. Another task completed!!

Guest Hudson33
After looking at the '34 Doge thread thought I had better upgrade my thread. After discussion with Model 33 Touring owner about carb. linkage it was noted that I did not have dust pan below motor. He said his overheats without one, especially when standing. I borrowed his to see how it was constructed and tried to make one that is similar but not same as one does not fit the other. Model 20 it was called "dirt pan" , maybe roads where improving about then!!!Included are some pics and note the 2 locks on mine compared to 4 ea. for the touring
Guest Hudson33
These are pics of the locks that did not come thru 1st time. The short pin goes into a hole drilled in side of frame. Not sure if other manufacturers did this. This was replaced when the '37 had a fan as cooling equipment.
