Earl B.
I'm posting the pictures separately so there will be no confusion between the pictures...my confusion, that is...I know it's a Buick, and I'm pretty sure it's a Roadmaster, my father's favorite, but what year is it. It was taken in March of 1952. many thanks, B
Guest shadetree77
From the looks of the trim down the side and the glimpse of one of the portholes, it appears to be a 1951. One of the Roadmaster Riviera models. Top of the line and a beautiful car.

Guest Rob McDonald
The sweepspear looks the same on Special, Super and Roadmaster Rivieras but the window sill moulding, which drops down onto the door and quarter panel, is Roadmaster-only. The chrome filler in the C-pillar is common to the Super and Roadmaster but not the Special. (I like that extra "railing" around the bumper of the Roady below, although it's probably aftermarket.)I'm with Robert and GG: your photo shows a '51 Roadmaster - and a terrified child.Special... Roadmaster... Super
Earl B.
Thank you all for your help. In another pile of pictures, I found another picture, so, since it shows almost the whole car I'll post it. I wish they had put this one, and a few more up for me!!! Again, thanks to all, B
