Grandpa
The stand is used for cars that use a wheel rim jack. The wheel rim jack is used to raise the car and then the stand is placed under the car for support when the jack is removed. The base is about 5" square and the height is about 13". There appears to be traces of dark blue or gray original paint. The stand could be for a GM car, as some late 1930s and 1940s GM cars used wheel rim jacks.Help in identifying the year & make of car that used this stand would be appreciated. Thanks,Grandpa
drwatson
Here's a similar device pictured in 1941 Pontiac literature. Yours might be +/- a model year.
