MochetVelo
For some reason, eBay France has no category for pre-1950 automobiles. There are still listings for the older cars, but all under the "1950" heading. They previously had a "Voitures de Collection" category. Anyone have an explanation?:confused:Phil
Bob McAnlis
Phil:I dont know why, but there are never more than about 30 entries there anyway. I look about twice a month. Parts are quite a differnet story...Bob McAnlis
MochetVelo
You're right, Bob. In US eBay, the "pre-1939" US category has 546 cars. Removing the words "Hot, Rod, Gasser, and custom", you get 397. Each country seems to have its own system on eBay. The UK has a "Classic Car" category which includes 2648 vehicles up to 1990. To find earlier cars, you have to search by year. Germany still has its "Oldtimer" category (658 listings). The French are crazy about old cars, so I still wonder why their eBay no longer includes a category for them.Phil
