Kean Thompson
WANTED: Rudge Whitworth Wire Wheels. I am trying to put together a couple of sets for 1910 Napier and 1910 and 1911 Talbots. With these wheels you tend to acquire many odd ones 815 X 105, 895 X 135, 880 X 120 and even larger ones - see photo. I am interested in odd ones, pairs, etc etc. What have you?Kean Thompsonspeedster1930@hotmail.com<!-- google_ad_section_end --> <FIELDSET class=fieldset><LEGEND>Attached Thumbnails</LEGEND> </FIELDSET>
ak
Never saw a Rudge wheel that looked like that! Looks more like the McCue wheel.
DavidMc
The wheel looks exactly the same as the Rudge Whitworth wheels fitted to most of the surviving early 1920's Packard sixes that were exported to Australia. Unfortunately, Kean I can't help with any spares, they extremely scarce. A few owners have had to resort to making new wheels starting with only original hubs.
