Guest
Will the ring and pinion including posi unit from a 65 Riviera fit into the housing for a 64 Wildcat? I believe the 65 Riviera is a GS axle.
NTX5467
I suspect there might be some possibilities, but will let someone else nail that down. Seems like the GS axle ratio would be either a 3.23 or 3.42, though, whereas the Wildcat would be something like 3.08, so some speedometer gear set changes would be necessary too. Might need to check the two rear axle ratios by counting the teeth, etc. to see what's what.Just some thoughts . . .NTX5467
Ted "Wildcat65" Nagel
I think the 3rd member will fit fine in the housing. better count teeth on the axle splines. Within the next couple days I will be trading yokes between a 65 Riv and a 65 Wildcat 3rd member. Riv has the flange, Wcat has typical ujoint connection. I'll post on progress there.
