  1. It sure does. When I got mine, my woodgrain was peeling from the moisture and hot Texas sun. Amazing how some can look after all these years.
  2. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayIS...mMakeTrack=true Absolutely stunning. Wish mine would look like that.
  3. Welcome to the digital age BCA. This should have been done, oh, about 6 years ago at bare minimum. <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />
  4. Thanks Adam, and Guy your right...there's definitely no going back now!
  5. A lot of you probably don?t know me as I don?t post much but that is something that will change now. Below are the pics of my car, Big Bertha a 67 Electra 4 door hardtop. This past week, after regretfully and shamefully not starting up my car for a full year, I went out to start my car as I?m just now starting to be able to spend more and more money on this hobby that I love. Scared that she wouldn?t start, I charged up the battery. Motor turned over very nicely but no start. Then, it occurred to me that I probably would need to poor some gas in the carb, as it needed some work the last time I drove it. Long story short- I poured some gas in it and put the battery charger to high and BAM! That 430 engine started immediately, with no knocking, valves hitting or anything! I was in shock. I have always started my car at least once or twice a month but lately I have just not had the time due to my new career that is taking off so fast and the fact that I?m a 29 year old student studying to get his Bachelors. But then again I should have had more faith in ole? Bertha. I drove this car with Pete Phillips and Marvin Goad from the North Texas club from Dallas to St. Louis back in 97. Not a single mechanical failure, other than the fact that the AC was too cold! I now plan on getting the oil and transmission flushed and starting her up at least once a month. So as I?m getting back into the club I wanted to share this story and my pictures with you. Regards, Marc Front Side Rear
  6. Brian, I don't visit these forums often enough, but you are making me visit more and more.
  7. Wow, that's great. You have all of our support.
  8. Sorry about your loss. I'm guessing that nobody was home at the time, or you were gone for a extended period ?
  9. Hello fellow Buick lovers, I will be visiting Richmond, Virginia in a few weeks and was wondering if anyone knows of any junkyards there that have older cars. If anyone has any info or links please let me know. Thanks.
  10. I own a 67 electra and in all my literature, I don't see anything like what you say.
  11. Brian, Thanks so much for posting this. I love looking at old buick dealerships. I found this attachment in the smithsonian also. Take a look !
  12. Very valid points Tom. I'm 28 years old and have been involved in the Buick Club since I was 21 or so. I see very few people my age at these buick events, and have thought the same things as you do. But as long as I'm with fellow Buick lovers, I feel right at home.
  13. Yeah, I noticed that too Brian, good eyes !
  14. This is very interesting to me, seeing how I live in the city it was made. (Duncanville is just south of downtown Dallas.)
