  1. 1936 plymouth coupe seat. Bought it thinking that it might work for my '31 but the seat backs are too high. Located in DeKalb, IL about 60mi due west of Chicago. Willing to drop off at Fastenal for shipping, additional prep and packaging at buyer's expense. $800 Will take cash in person, postal money order, cashiers check, or paypal if buyer covers fees. Will also trade for a 1931 plymouth coupe seat of similar or better condition. Best to email me directly for quickest response: hotrodderguy@yahoo.com Thanks
  2. Thanks. These are still available. Listening to offers. Thanks
  3. Large diameter Grey and Davis style headlights. No maker's mark that I can find. Fork mounted style. Unsure of what vehicle they came on. Brass rings are beat up and will need work. Buckets are in excellent shape and make you wonder what the heck happened to the rings. $100 obo+shipping Willing to trade for 1931 Plymouth parts.
  4. Try these for parts: www.kanter.com www.pontiacparts.net
  5. SOLD SOLD SOLD 1932 Chevy Grille shell. grille, radiator supports, and rivet kit. Looks to be brass? I buffed out a corner for show. I tried to take good pictures to show condition. asking $500 obo
  6. Saw this while viewing Craigslist. Not mine, but wanted to pass the ad along for anybody who might be interested. http://richmondin.craigslist.org/cto/5390790049.html Looks like a nice project for the $.
  7. yep. I am trying to track this stuff down for my Fiance's uncle. I was able to track down an edmunds 2x2 intake for a 268 with a couple carter carbs on it, was able to trade a pontiac 3x2 for V8 for it, got lucky. I think it made his year. I'd love to find a cylinder head too. He has been collecting parts for this project for the better part of 2 decades and I think that the head would finally light the fire to actually start assembling something. Anyway, still looking. Any leads would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
  8. I know....hen's teeth right? Anyway, just throwing this out there and looking for a little luck. Seeking a Edmunds cylinder head for Pontiac 268. Prefer usable as is, but will consider pieces that need some work if priced accordingly. If you might be able to help, please email: hotrodderguy@yahoo.com. Thanks.
  9. Pair of large diameter headlights from late 1910's-early 1920's. No name on them, but they have the classic Gray & Davis shape. Rings are brass and are pretty dented up and will need some love. Buckets are in really good shape. Overall diameter is about 11". They take lens somewhere in the neighborhood of 8.5"-9". Distance between fork mounts is 8". Could be a great pair of headlights for your unique hot rod, speedster project, or period restoration. Asking $250. Located in Ohio Will ship at buyer's expense. Can take additional pictures for serious buyers. For quickest response, please reply to my email address: hotrodderguy@yahoo.com
  10. This seems to be a 1932 Chevy radiator grille shell, but it is brass. At first I thought it might just be brass plated, but a magnet will not stick to it, so I'm pretty sure it is all brass. I quickly buffed out a section to show how it polishes up. My guess it that it was from a car. The kicker is that I also have the grille and the supports. The upper and lower support have been media blasted and are in really good shape. The radiator supports are very solid. Right now the lower support is being held on w/ pan screws, but as pictured, I have the proper rivets to replace the screws. There are a couple stress cracks starting (pictured) and a couple dents that shouldn't be too much trouble to work out (also pictured). Has an overall height of about 33" and approximate width of 20". Original emblem included. Asking $1500 Not really interested in trades, unless you have a drivable old pickup truck project you want to go even out on. Located in Ohio. Will ship at buyer's expense. Can take additional pictures for serious buyers. For quickest response, please reply to my email address: hotrodderguy@yahoo.com
  11. 1923 Willys cowl, gas tank and grille shell. Do not want to separate. Gas tank fits in hole that is in firewall. Made that way from the factory. $200 firm or trade. Interested in Gen II chevy I6 aftermarket parts or SBC speed parts. Pick up only, unless you arrange a transporter. ***These are the only willys parts that I have*** Can send more pictures to serious buyers. Please respond to my email address for quickest response: hotrodderguy@yahoo.com
  12. It's about 6.5 hr to there. I have some vacation time coming up in early July. If possible shoot me an email with what you might have. hotrodderguy@yahoo.com Thanks.
  13. Thanks fellas. I'd prefer the bench style over the single buckets given the choice. I also intend to fully modify the rear section whatever it may be to work. Cutting and welding and general fab are no problem, but planishing hammer, english wheel, etc are out of my league. Unfortunately, most of the model T speedster stuff will not work for me due to size. The wheelbase on this project is 131" and based on a 1932 1.5ton truck chassis. Hence the desired use of the larger parts for proper proportions. Thanks.
  14. Hi- I am building from the ground up a speedster in the spirit of the early vanderbilt cup cars, but with more modern components. I am hand building a body for it. Unfortunately, I'm no coach builder so I need to start with a little more than a bare piece of sheet metal. I am hoping to find the rear section of a touring car to help me in making a seat for the car..... or might be interested in some sort of larger early seat that would work. This is a low budget build, so please keep in mind if you might have any thing I could use. I don't mind cast-offs and surely don't expect too much in the way of condition. The closer to Ohio the better. I have a few things I could trade on, but not a bunch. If you have anything that might work for my needs, please let me know. Thanks: hotrodderguy@yahoo.com
