Guest snuphysolds
The vacuum hose from the check valve to the booster seems to be collapsed. Is there a fix for this or what is causing it. There seems to be no power assist. Is a rebuilt booster/master cylinder the answer? Who has the best one? Has the format on this AACA site changed? There does not seem to be as many items per page now. Or is it time for a new computer also. Thanks for any help or advice.Ed
Bhigdog
Most likely the hose itself is deteriorated.......Bob
Guest snuphysolds
Problem solved! In my pessimistic way I was thinking the worst. If I had just checked the brake fluid level, and added fluid, there isn't a problem. The vacuum hose still looks collapsed but it holds vacuum and the brakes work. Maybe I will learn to do the obvious first.Ed
