Radiator for 72 Cutlass

Just wondering if I would have a problem putting a 4 core 70 cutlass radiator in a 72 cutlass with air? I am more worried about width then length. The car currently is running a 2 core and I do not believe a two core will keep my 70 500 hp with air 455 cutlas cool.

The end tanks on the four row radiators are wider than those of the two and three row radiators, so no, the four row will not fit your car as-is. The "U" shaped brackets on the core support and top plate are wider (and the rubber insulators are correspondingly different). You can cut and weld the current brackets to fit the wider radiator. Alternatively, get an aluminum radiator. It will fit the current brackets and works better than a four row copper radiator.
