Jolly_John Posted May 17, 2007 Share Posted May 17, 2007 Hi, Gang. I need an NOS or very good used water outlet (thermostat housing) for my 1971 Buick 350 engine. The Buick part numbers that will work are 1380207 or 1366381. Again, a really nice, used piece will be fine also. My research shows that all Buick V-8s from 1967 to 1974 used the same water outlet. The problem I've found with the current parts house water outlet for my application is that is is made of porous, dark cast iron. I'm looking for more of the original equipment (almost looks like smoother, cast aluminum). So, that's why I'm looking for NOS or good original used.
