So who bought it 535$ for 16V TC in VA was on ebay

Somebody got a steal today for a parts Tc with 5spd and 16V motor. i tried, 500$ was my max i had to go to work. good luck whoever bought it.

I emaied with the guy a couple of times. He wrote put a battery in it and it will run. Car Chick was going to check it out but couldn't make contact with the seller.. I like you was prepaired to pay $500. and had a car carrier lined up. It's about 3 1/2 hrs. from me. Seller said it was brown, & rated the body a 5 & interior a 4.. Lou

Yes, I tried emailing the guy several times and got NO response. It was no more than an hour from me.

It sounds like I had most of the parts to fix it to. Oh well, like I need yet ANOTHER car! LOL

Based on the description of the car, I think I might have had the parts to make it run. But without pics, or seeing it in person there is no way to know for sure. I wasn't going to bid sight unseen.

Hmmm.... it would seem all the [color:"blue"] GUYS got email replies but not the [color:"pink"] GAL . *hmph* <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/mad.gif" alt="" /> No doubt he assumes I wouldn't know a valve spring from a mattress spring.

Based on the terminology he used, I would not be surprised if he ran a junk or salvage parts yard.
