Guest neil1964
Hello,I have a question. Does anyone know how to replace the lenses in the interior back shelf courtesy lights in a 1964 Cutlass? The chrome lens cover doesn't seem to have any screws that will remove it. And the lens cover doesn't seem to simply unscrew. So how do you get to the lens itself so it can be changed? Thanks...Neil
rocketraider
Use a small thin screwdriver and gently pry the lenses out of the bezel. There are two or three tabs on the lens that retain it into slots on the bezel. Try to pry as close to the tabs as possible to disengage them from their slots.Natcherly after 43 years, they'll probably be dryrotted and break in a dozen pieces when you try to remove them. Reproductions are available though, both flat style and concentric ribbed. One good thing about all the Divisions stealing out of the same trim parts bins!Good luck! <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />
