NYBobP
"Asking Price: Greater than, or equal to 2X original sticker retail price".Let's see...I think the original sticker was around $38,000, so that would put yours around $76,000. Jeesh, I hope you get it. or anything close. As soon as you sell yours, I'll put my '91 convert w/ 29,000 miles up for a few bucks more. Maybe $85K , and I've got a brand-new zippered binder with everything in it! Good luck, and let me know when someone comes up with the cash. manikmekanik
<div class="ubbcode-block"><div class="ubbcode-header">Quote:</div><div class="ubbcode-body"> "Asking Price: Greater than, or equal to 2X original sticker retail price".</div></div> Original sticker was @ $36,000 so my price range is $36k - $72k, very flexible! This price is derived from the fact "Black Beauty" is the LAST of her siblings on the road. A "more common" '91 drop-top may have as hard time pulling 1X sticker as "Black Beauty" may have getting 2X sticker. But, you DO have the flashlight and tire guage, THAT could make all the difference????Last year, Mike(Reattadudes) was reported to have sold a '90 ragtop for $67,000!Granted. it had only 9 miles on ODO, it was a '90 - much more common than any '91. This shows there are buyers out there at this price level, or at least one buyer!Black Beauty had less than 29k, when I got her, in 2005, but we've enjoyed her company, on trips to the Nats, and Lansing reunion, as well a few trips to the Custard shop. Some trophy cars demand, and deserve to be DRIVEN! This is NOT one to be moth-balled in some warehouse, but to be enjoyed - within reason.
