inserting pictures into a message

No matter what I do I still can not get pictures posted into messages on here. Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong?

I took one of your CarDomain photos;

-right click on photo... copy the properties line

-reply button on your thread...on that page you'll find under "Instant UBB codes" the hyperlink "images" click it and paste the copied line in the pop up

that should do the trick

Thank you. Any idea why the webshots version only shows a very small picture? Webshots gives me a variety of links to use. None of them work unless it's the one below and it only shows a small version.

looking at the properties line of the photo in your latest reply:

"thumb5" and "_th" are referring to a thumbnail photo... I just searched your webshot page and it seems to me that you can only link photos from there in a thumbnail size:

Yes! You can post a thumbnail of any public photo or gallery photo available on Webshots. </div></div>

The full size photos you have there are also too large to fit on a screen; you'll have to re-size them (width of 600-650 will be the best size) to fit on a screen

What I was able to do was to save one of your photos on a "webshot"-like hosting site ("photobucket" or in this case "imageshack")where I put most of my photos; from there it is easy to link a (resized "full size") photo here:
