Parrot428
I have a 67 gold paint car and while finishing a brake job, I accenditenly spilled some brake fluid on the paint. Every where the fluid ran, I now have a white streak. This is the 67 original paint. Does anyone know if there is anything I can do about this streak other than repainting the car? Retrorocket88
From past experience, paint always loses....That stuff eats paint!
Bhigdog
If the "white" is down to the primer you're pretty much hosed. If it's surface discoloration only try a mid range agressivness rubbing compound. This is exactly why I'm going to DOT 5 fluid in the one car I have with DOT 3 in it now. Good luck......Bob.
