Mail Truck purchased, Still need Taxi Cab, Pre-1900 Electric ...

Recommended Posts

Thanks very much to all of those who helped with leads. I have been fortunate enough to locate and purchase an AA Mailtruck. I am still looking for a pre-1960 Taxi Cab,prefer a car that originally was a Taxi although I am begining to weaken on that requirement. Also interested in any Pre-1900 Electric Vehicle, Any unusually bodied electric Post or Pre 1900, ie Limo, Outside Drive, Roof Drive, etc. The stranger the better. Also interested in later electrics, ie 1950 - 1980. Want the early electics in any condition. The late stuff needs to be very nice. Would also consider a Pre-1960 Police Car, any brand, presentable good running condition. Want a vehicle that was originally a police car. Not a clone. Still interested in the micro and mini cars too, even though they dont come in my size. Decent looking running cars wanted. The weird stuff preferably. If its really unusual its probably for me. As always your help is greatly appreciated. Contact davbergltd@aol.com

Sure you can ask. I am going to put them in the garage with the other ones. Drive them on occasion, research the history of them, invite other AACA members and Regions to come and see them, take them to a show or a tour as time allows and in general have a world of fun with them enjoying the hobby as I hope every member does with their car or cars. Anytime you're in my area give a holler and come on over. Dave.

Dave your comment of "The stranger the better." stuck in my mind when I read it. I thought of you when I saw this and thought that I needed to show it to you. Ebay item 120079965962 is the strangest thing that I have seen in a while....
