Pontiac59
Found this mixed in with mostly carbs, starters, and fuel pumps in an old Dodge wagon and grabbed it. Missing one gauge. The key is a replacement blank but it has the same hex head design and "made by Briggs and Stratton" that is like the GM ignition key blank used up until they went to the key switch on the column in 67-69. So I thought maybe it could be GM, but who knows (a '70's AMC trunk blank also fits the 66-earlier GM ignition!). The car's coil is mounted directly to the back of this switch. Having the speedo way over on the right seems kind of odd - I have a pile of carbs to go through and ID, too. Also, is a Chrysler combo generator/PS pump anything desirable? Probably 50's era. Pontiac59
FWIW, I was able to look at a gorgeous '29 Chrysler roadster Sunday; the gauges in it had the same shape and same style of lettering to them. But they were arranged differently. So this must be 28-30 Mopar of some sort - anyone know for sure?
