Picture of Another Turbo Reatta

I have seen this before as well, the problem is what became of the cars (I know some were destroyed) and how did they make them integrate to the stock Reatta electronics? I have never found the answer. They proto'd high and low boost fwd Reatta's and hi-boost rwd (GN drivetrain) but no other details have been forthcoming. Mine is similar to the low boost (8 psi or so) and it makes for a completely different and tractible car, but the tuning has always been a problem. GM doesn't give up it's secrets and I could really use how it was made to work.

Find it, and it is worth a bunch to me. <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> Actually I suspect it was more than a simple program change. I suspect they integrated they earlier GN (less powerful) ECM to run them, and the instrument panel readout and control is not mentioned in any article I have found.

You're right, was more than a quick reflash.

The turbo info hosted by reattadudes did mention there being a "graphical" readout of boost, so I'm thinking they added something to the gauges page of the ECC or in Options.

What's interesting is the variation between this turbo Reatta and the one in the other more common pic (F14 just posted that pic in the lowering update thread). This turbo Reatta has an asymmetrical hood bulge. It also has a front bumper fascia with a flared lower lip, but the fog lights are still rectangular on this one instead of round as in the other car.

I love seeing factory prototype variations. I still want to see original Reatta prototypes and drawings, the ones before the bumpers were added. If anyone has these, please post them.
