shoreice
Here are the specs for ny reatta: 1G4EC5J8900826 Black with tan interior, black trim, no extras, but looks all original. She needs paint (someone used too much pressure on the polisher and swirlled right thru the clearcoat) and all the tune up and brake flush stuff. Still has the OEM plug wires, etc. The headlight diode is burned up so I'll try to find a replacement, and the tape player doesn't work. Who has best price for a service manual? Barney Eaton
You have a fairly early 1988.... Do the seats have suede on the sides? Is the Service parts label on the inside of the deck lid? Does it have the 16 way seat option? Is there an X22 code on the service parts label?
shoreice
No suede, maybe badly recovered in cheap vinyl, The service parts label is on the inside of the deck lid, no 16way seats, no X22 code

shoreice
I just replaced the headlight diode ( following posted instructions) and it worked first time! Cost 59 cents. Anybody got a spare "diode plug" cause mine was burned beyond recognition. Oh yeah, still got the OEM hoses with the rusty wire hose clamps installed.
