JayS
I am looking at a 48 Chevy Fleetmaster Sport Coupe. Been Frame off restored about 8 years ago. Engine rebuilt 2K miles ago. Car is gorgeous. Chrome is nearly flawless (Aside from a couple of minor spots) paint is two tone, Dove Gray and Metallic Blue on top. Interior is absolutely beautiful. Car has been restored to factory specs. Wiring has been done with correct material, etc. Here is my question.. He wants $15,500. I know he is high.. But how much to high? I can't find anything to compare it to with the exception of NADA and they show a High value of 11,750. They also show a High Value for my 66 GTO (421 Tri-Power, 4 speed, Hardtop) as 77K, which I think is insane. So, I question the reliability on their figures. I am very interested in the car, but I am not willing to pay out the nose for it.Help?
JFranklin
It would cost you more if you bought an old chevy and did all that work. pricing boils down to what you are willing to spend after careful inspection.
