'55 power windows

Hi there,

I'm having trouble tracking down the problem with one of my rear power windows on a '55 Starfire. They're the type that pivot backwards. The window track seems to be in good shape. The motor moves the window slightly.

I am wondering if there is a limiting stop in the motor that may be misadjusted. I see one screw with a securing nut on the motor that could serve this purpose.

There is no limit switch on the motor. the screw/nut you see is actually to adjust the motor end bearing. There are two window tracks in the rear quarter that the regulator arms ride in. Most likely something is out of whack there and binding.........Bob.
