Firemangordy
I just purchased a 1931 Buick 8-86 4 passenger coupe. Can anyone tell me how many were built and what the cost was when new? Please e-mail me at lwz55@juno.com Thanks.

Firemangordy
The car is a resto rod. The body is not modified. It has original headlights, fog lights, cowl lights, spare tire carrier and luggage rack. 350 engine and turbo 350 trans. Power steering, power disc brakes, AC, power windows, and stereo. Was this body style referred to as a Victoria by Buick or was that a name that was applied to early Fords only?
Guffin
It was referred to as 4 person Coupe. 3579 were made. On the other hand the 32-86 was referred to as 5 person Victoria Travelers Coupe. If you are going to restore it, it may be hard to find a 344 ci engine and the rear end. The engine was made until 1935 but with different exhaust and intake manifolds and carburetors.Jan
