jaxops Posted December 20, 2005 Share Posted December 20, 2005 It has been a long year, but we finally tapped a fellow who restored a Packard Hearse and has the confidence and ability to paint our limousine. We are shooting for April as the delivery date, so hopefully I can be ready for the AACA Junior in May in Va Beach.The hole in the RR quarter panel and over the fender skirt caused a huge delay. Modeling in new metal and shaping it tool several weeks each. I also had to have a new chassis mount made for under the trunk, meaning that the body had to be lifted.Off and running for paint and electrical. The chrome is all done. I had to buy 2 NOS bumper ends for the rear bumper since mine were perforated but the rest was rechromed and all of the stainless trim shined up and undented. Expensive stuff indeed. I am sending out the autronic eye for overhaul finally. They had misplaced the lense, and it took a while to find it. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
