Junkman
Is there a Mercer club or owners registry?
Guest Hal Davis (MODEL A HAL)
Yes, there is a Mercer club. I don't know much about it, but there is a chapter in Savannah, GA. A few years ago, they had a Mercer show in Savannah. They attracted 8-10 Mercer Raceabouts. Savannah had hosted several races back in the 1910 time frame. There was a Mercer team present at these races. They took the cars around the old race course. It has changed a bit since then, but I understand that if you know what to look for, you can still see evidence of the course, i.e. some banked curves, etc.Anyway, sorry to get offtrack (pun intended). Yes there is a Mercer club.

21raceabout
Stan Smith told me at Hershey that he is in the process of making a major update to the Mercer owner's registry. If anyone knows of someone who has acquired a Mercer, or a Mercer that has been sold in the last few years, Stan would be very interested in learning who the current owner is, the year model and S/N of the car. For anyone concerned about their privacy, this registry is only available to other Mercer owners.
