Guest sintid58
There are many here who would hate to see a fairly nice original car of any age hot rodded. There are a lot of us who think if you have a car that doesn't run and needs everything it is fine to hot rod. Most of us do agree on one thing. If you hot rod a Buick PLEASE don't put a Chuvy motor in it. That is tearing the heart out. Buick engines are very reliable and can produce as much or more horsepower that any Chuvy you can buy. Other than some parts that are harder to find for our engines their is nothing that can't be done to make a 455 look as good as any Chuvy, and they sound 10 times as nice when they are running. If you want the real skinny on building a hot rod out of a 37/38 ask Joe Taubitz (The Old Guy on this forum), he has a beautiful 38 that he built called the Coupe De Grape.
