anselmail Posted August 25, 2005 Share Posted August 25, 2005 My mechanic says he found what looked like plastic parts from the clutch pack come out in the pan when the transmission fluid/filter was changed. Should I be worried???He said the engine is in great condition. Clean and well maintained. The test drove it afterwards and it runs fine. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Jim Posted August 25, 2005 Share Posted August 25, 2005 It is not uncommon for that disk to break and have some pieces in the pan. It happened to my son so I asked a transmission repair shop and it should not cause any problems. My son continued to put on about another 20,000 miles with no trouble.
